Microsoft 365 Platform Administrator

to own and manage our enterprise M365 environment, including Intune, Power Platform, and Office 365 services. This role will serve as the technical authority for our Microsoft cloud ecosystem, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience across all M365 services. After gaining knowledge of our environment, there is the opportunity for this position to work under our Hybrid schedule working both in the office and remotely. The ideal candidate will combine deep administrative expertise in M365 services with Azure knowledge and the ability to support citizen developers building Power Platform solutions. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management, configuration, and optimization of our Microsoft cloud infrastructure while enabling business users to leverage low-code development tools effectively. Key Responsibilities

M365 Administration & Management

Serve as the primary administrator for Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and related services Manage Microsoft Teams Phone System, including voice routing, calling policies, dial plans, and user provisioning Configure and maintain Direct Routing, calling queues, auto attendants, and emergency calling policies Manage user lifecycle, licensing, permissions, and access controls across all M365 services Configure and maintain security policies, compliance settings, and data governance frameworks Administer email security gateway and filtering (Proofpoint or equivalent), including policy configuration, threat response, and integration with Exchange Online Monitor service health, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Microsoft support when needed Plan and execute M365 feature rollouts, updates, and tenant-wide configuration changes Intune & Endpoint Management

Design, implement, and maintain device management policies through Microsoft Intune Manage mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) policies Configure conditional access policies and device compliance requirements Coordinate with Tanium team on endpoint management integration and policy enforcement Troubleshoot endpoint management issues across Windows, iOS, and Android devices Power Platform Administration

Administer Power Platform environments, including environment creation, security, and data loss prevention policies Manage Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI service administration Support citizen developers by providing guidance on best practices, governance, and solution architecture Monitor Power Platform usage, licensing, and capacity Manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) including users, groups, and enterprise applications Configure and maintain hybrid identity solutions with Azure AD Connect Support Azure resources that integrate with M365 services Implement and manage identity protection and privileged identity management Assist with Azure resource provisioning and management as needed Development Support & Enablement

Provide technical guidance and support to business users developing Power Apps solutions Review and optimize Power Apps and Power Automate flows for performance and best practices Create templates, components, and reusable assets for the Power Platform community Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end users and citizen developers Collaborate with IT and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions Documentation & Compliance

Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, policies, and procedures Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies Generate reports on usage, adoption, security posture, and system performance Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and evidence Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

3-5 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments at an enterprise level Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone System administration, including voice routing, Direct Routing, and telephony policy management Experience with email security gateways (Proofpoint preferred) or equivalent solutions (Mimecast, Barracuda, etc.) Solid understanding of Azure Active Directory, identity management, and authentication protocols Experience with PowerShell scripting for M365 and Azure automation Knowledge of security and compliance features within M365 (DLP, retention, sensitivity labels) Power Platform Development Support

Ability to review, troubleshoot, and optimize Power Apps canvas and model-driven applications Understanding of Power Automate flow design patterns and best practices Familiarity with Dataverse, data modeling, and connector configuration Additional Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) Microsoft certifications preferred: MS-102, MS-900, PL-200, PL-300, or AZ-104 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users Experience with change management and user adoption strategies Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications
