Cryptologic Computer Scientist III

An exciting and technically sophisticated role that turns complex data sets into actionable information to solve global challenges. You will work on a large new contract focusing on analytics, knowledge management artifacts, information sharing tools, data transformation, and malware analysis.
Qualifications
Design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework.
Interest in cyber and intelligence‑focused projects to support computer network operations, cyber security and forensic missions, intelligence knowledge systems, and related missions.
Work with current project teams to support ongoing intelligence‑focused projects.
Develop, code, and program software to support ongoing project work with minimal supervision.
Review and test your and peers’ software to ensure secure and safe software development practices.
Ask questions and communicate issues and problems clearly to peers and management.
Collaborate effectively with others.
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
MUST have a TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
Relevant Experience
Apply computer science skills (operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structure) to provide state‑of‑the‑art techniques, tools, and approaches in project or academic work.
Experience with at least one of the following languages (priority order): Python, Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Go, Rust, or another relevant language. Experience with multiple languages is preferred.
Experience designing, developing, or evaluating mathematical models, methods, or techniques (e.g., algorithm development) is a plus.
Ability to understand and study issues and solve problems.
Experience with engineering (electrical or computer) including computer system building or high‑performance computing is a plus.
Degree Specialization
Must be in one of the following fields:
Computer Science
Computer Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mathematics (including Applied Math)
Information Technology or Information Systems if coursework is equivalent to a CS major.
Or a related field (engineering, math, telecommunications, etc.) with at least one programming class and at least four upper‑level math courses such as algorithms, computer architecture (not network architecture), programming methodologies and languages, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics.
Salary Range
$130,000.00 – $170,000.00 USD / year
Salary Description: The pay range is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors considered when extending an offer include responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, market data, applicable bargaining agreement, and applicable law.
