1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week
Job Summary The Loaner & Consignment SPD Coordinator manages all aspects of loaner and consignment trays, ensuring timely delivery, accurate processing, and seamless coordination across vendors, clinical partners, and internal SPD teams. This role also supports daily production oversight, data tracking, and process improvement to maintain operational excellence in a high-volume sterile processing environment.
Key Responsibilities Loaner & Consignment Tray Coordination
Serve as the main point of contact for all incoming and outgoing loaner and consignment trays
Verify tray contents for accuracy, completeness, and integrity before and after sterilization
Coordinate with vendors, clinical teams, and SPD staff to ensure trays are delivered, processed, and ready for use
Track and document tray movement through the full sterilization and return cycle
Production & Workflow Oversight
Monitor daily production flow and prioritize workloads for maximum efficiency
Identify and resolve potential delays, discrepancies, or bottlenecks proactively
Provide guidance or oversight to Production Technicians as needed, establishing performance and accountability standards
Communication & Relationship Management
Maintain professional relationships with vendors, partner hospitals, surgery centers, and internal teams
Communicate tray status, delivery schedules, and special requests effectively
Represent the organization professionally in all interactions
Data Accuracy & Reporting
Ensure accurate and timely data entry for tray movements, sterilization records, and operational metrics
Generate reports summarizing activity, volume trends, and areas for improvement
Uphold documentation standards to support regulatory compliance and operational excellence
Education & Certification
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Required:
CRCST or CSPDT certification
Preferred:

Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of hands‑on SPD experience with emphasis on loaner and consignment tray management
Strong coordination skills across departments, vendors, and leadership teams
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with instrument tracking software and reporting tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Positive, proactive mindset with commitment to accuracy and process integrity
