Greets patients to the Care-A-Van in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
Provides and explains paperwork for the patient to complete prior to examination. Collects, proof for completeness, and files patient forms. Updates demographics and insurance information in the system. Collects co-pays and balances; provides receipt.
Adheres to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPPA laws and guidelines with regards to patient’s records.
Ensures all preparatory work is completed for a successful clinical day at various site locations within the service area.
Orders and maintains all supplies and equipment.
Assists with exams as needed.
Performs phlebotomy, injections, Audiograms, and POC testing.
Maintains files for patient and clients.
Assists in scheduling site visits and pick up visits.
Assists with updates on client contact information.
Helps to create and maintain procedures.
Assists with Vaccines for Children regulations.
Creates and maintains a professional and patient centered environment that is in accordance with the NAH behavioral expectation, mission and vision.
Other duties as requested or assigned.
Requirements: 3 or more years of experience. CPR certification required.
Required RN License
CMA - Cert Med. Assist.
