Overview of position JBW Federal is seeking a Service Engineer to work in the Scott AFB, IL area. A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position. The Service Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects that align with the organization's strategic goals. This role manages stakeholder expectations, mitigates risks, and ensures successful delivery of project outcomes. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. The Service Engineer works closely with project managers, cross-functional teams, and leadership to deliver value and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and manage scope

Align project goals and deliverables with organizational strategies and stakeholder expectations.

Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure consistency and collaboration.

Monitor and track project performance, ensuring timely completion of milestones.

Identify, evaluate, and mitigate program risks and issues.

Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Manage resource allocation and dependencies across projects.

Establish and maintain elective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Facilitate project governance, including steering committees and stakeholder reviews.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMI).

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Proven experience in managing multiple complex projects or programs simultaneously.

Proficient in program management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).

Clearance

Active Secret Security Clearance is required.

Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
