Desired Qualifications:
Working knowledge of ASME Y14.100 Engineering Drawing Practices. Strong understanding of CAD modeling best practices, product data structure, and Bill of Material. Solidworks and AutoCAD experience.
Duties:
Work in a team of mechanical designers to support various DoD programs using 2D&3D computer aided design software to translate requirements into component and system designs. Support design reviews and create associated fabrication and assembly drawings. Perform drawing checks for parts and assemblies in support of initial release and design revisions. Develop models and drawings meeting ASME and Military standard formats to support technical data packages.
