Position Overview Elevation Physical Therapy, a division of Medical Group of Alaska, LLC, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovative and evidence-based therapies. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll collaborate with Algone Premier Pain Specialists to provide tailored physical therapy solutions that empower patients to manage pain, restore mobility, and achieve optimal physical function.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical function, range of motion, and pain levels.
Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient needs and overall goals, focusing on pain reduction, mobility enhancement, and injury prevention.
Implement therapy techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training, to address pain and physical limitations.
Educate patients on proper body mechanics, posture, and self-care strategies to enhance treatment outcomes and promote long‑term health.
Collaborate closely with Algone Premier Pain Specialists clinicians to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
Document and update patient records, treatment progress, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Participate in team meetings, contribute to program development, and stay current with best practices in physical therapy.
Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Alaska, or willingness to obtain Alaska licensure.
Proven experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, with a focus on pain management preferred.
Strong understanding of evidence‑based treatment modalities and patient‑centered care principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to compassionate patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt treatment plans based on team input and patient progress.
