Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00), on-call one weekend a month and one day a week.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled PACU / Pre-op Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care or PACU. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prepping and recovering patients who are undergoing catheter lab procedures including cardiac stents, TAVR, and Watchman procedures. Responsibilities
Manage pre-op assessments and educate patients prior to procedures. Recover patients post-surgery and manage post-operative care. Handle arterial line management and dysrhythmia recognition/management. Administrate medications, including antiarrhythmics and anticoagulants. Conduct pain assessments and management, including narcotics/analgesics administration. Perform medication reconciliation and obtain operative/procedural consent. Follow up with patients after procedures for ongoing care and assessments. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years critical care or PACU experience. ACLS and BCLS certifications required. Valid California nursing license required at time of submission. Why ARMStaffing?
