The Histology Technician performs technical functions in the preparation of tissue samples received in the Laboratory. Histology technicians ensure the specimens taken are acceptable and sustainable in the required observation and diagnosis by the Pathologist. You will accession specimens with proper patient information. You will process, embed, cut, mount and stain specimens. You will accurately file slides, cassettes and tissue blocks. You will assist with lab maintenance to include cleaning, restocking and specimen discarding. What qualifications you will need:
Histo-technologist Certification (ASCP or AMT) Bachelors Degree
