New Mexico Heart Institute has over 30 years of diagnostic, interventional and preventive cardiovascular expertise. Our team of over 50 providers use state-of-the-art technology, offering the latest treatment options for all types of heart and vascular conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform technical and patient care functions during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology labs.

Monitor and maintain equipment.

May serve in the role of charge or lead.

Adhere to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications Job Requirements

Associate’s degree in either nursing or radiology, or a graduate of an allied health accredited program including; EMTs or Paramedics.

Radiologic Technologist Certificate (RT), EMT or Paramedic.

BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

One (1) year of previous job related experience. Clinical educational experience may be substituted for work experience.

Advanced credentialing in cardiovascular and electrophysiology is strongly recommended. RCIS, RCES, RCVT, ARRT(RT(R)), CV, CI, or VI.
