You will join a supportive community of engaged teammates, including DVMs specializing in general practice, feline medicine, and surgery, all led by a dedicated Practice Owner and Hospital Manager. While we support all teammates in achieving their career goals, our primary focus is ensuring you have the resources and collaborative environment needed every day. We believe in nurturing a culture of growth where every teammate feels empowered to succeed. At EmmaVet, you will engage in a diverse and challenging medical caseload. We provide full Primary Care services Monday through Friday, complemented by dedicated Urgent Care available seven days a week from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. This schedule ensures continuity of care and a variety of patient needs, allowing you to utilize skills in pet wellness, prevention, testing and diagnostics, and advanced surgical procedures. We proudly offer comprehensive care for routine needs as well as critical situations, ensuring that not every pet emergency needs to be treated at a 24‑hour ICU or specialty center. EmmaVet is located in beautiful Alexandria, Virginia, placing you within a highly engaged community just outside Washington D.C. Situated in the Belle View Boulevard area, you will be joining a historic and vibrant region known for its quality of life. Who We're Looking For
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
A valid state license and in good standing to practice.
A collaborative spirit and a dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
