Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Mobile Wound Care
Location:
Dallas, TX Pay:
$70 per hour (plus mileage reimbursement and charting pay) Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 4-Day Workweek - No On-Call, No Nights, No Weekends Employment Type:

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
with a strong background in wound care to provide
mobile wound management services
across Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) in the Dallas area. This is a
field-based role
ideal for an autonomous clinician who values flexibility, independence, and delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive wound assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and conduct follow-up evaluations.
Provide advanced wound care, including sharp/surgical, enzymatic, autolytic, and mechanical debridement.
Utilize advanced modalities such as MIST Therapy (low-frequency, non-contact ultrasound).
Collect PCR samples for rapid pathogen identification and ensure accurate documentation.
Apply skin grafts, tissue substitutes, and regenerative therapies to promote healing.
Collaborate with facility nursing teams, physicians, and care coordinators for continuity of care.
Maintain timely and accurate electronic charting.
Educate facility staff on wound prevention, dressing protocols, and infection control practices.
Uphold compliance, professionalism, and patient confidentiality standards.
Requirements
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years as an NP with wound care experience.
Recent Practice:
Direct patient care within the past 6–12 months.
Credentials:
Current certifications and credentials required for NP practice in Texas.
Availability:
Able to work approximately 40 hours per week during standard operating hours.
Transportation:
Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license for travel between facilities.
Technical Skills:
Proficient with EMR systems and mobile documentation tools.
Professional Skills:
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-first mindset.
