General Job Description
As a
Residential Electrical Supervisor , you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our residential electrical services division in Lithia Springs, GA. This role is responsible for leading a team of electricians, coordinating residential projects, and ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong technical expertise and a passion for developing teams and delivering exceptional residential electrical services.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential electricians to ensure high performance, productivity, and professional growth
Provide daily direction, coaching, and performance feedback
Project Management
Plan, organize, and oversee residential electrical projects from start to finish
Manage scheduling, labor allocation, materials, and project budgets
Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
Quality Assurance
Ensure all electrical work meets company quality standards, local codes, and regulatory requirements
Conduct job‑site inspections and provide corrective guidance as needed
Client Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for residential customers
Address questions, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the project lifecycle
Technical Expertise
Provide hands‑on technical guidance and troubleshooting support for complex electrical issues
Ensure proper installation, operation, and testing of residential electrical systems and equipment
Safety Compliance
Enforce all safety protocols and procedures
Conduct regular safety meetings and job‑site audits
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations
Inventory Management
Manage tools, equipment, and material inventory
Maintain accurate records of usage, expenses, and replenishment needs
Training and Development
Identify skill gaps and training needs within the team
Facilitate training to improve technical knowledge, safety practices, and efficiency
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and service quality
Implement best practices to optimize residential electrical operations
Documentation
Maintain accurate project documentation including work orders, permits, and invoices
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Minimum Education None
Minimum Years of Experience 2–4
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience as a Residential Electrician
2–4 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
Valid electrician license and certifications (where applicable)
Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, codes, and standards
Experience installing underground (Secondaries, Island, Unit Power) – Preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Proficiency with project management software and tools
Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions
Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and controls
Visual and hearing ability sufficient to safely perform electrical work and job‑site inspections
