ORFull TimedaysExperienced# RN - Operating RoomLocationNantucket, MAEmployerMass General BrighamPay Range$38 - $90/hour## Job DescriptionExperience Level:Experienced•Establishes and implements standards of practice that ensure safe, effective and efficient nursing skills.•Covers central supply responsibilities in times of illness/vacation and as needed.•At least two (2) years of prior perioperative experience required/preferred.•At least two (2) years of prior perioperative experience required/preferred.•Knowledge of current nursing standards of practice required.•Must be able to demonstrate adequate technical skills and judgment to function unsupervised during on-call, other shifts, and weekend hours.•Ability to tactfully communicate with both internal and external customers.•Ability to handle stress and work in emergency situations.•Ability to assist patients on and off equipment.•Ability to move quickly in the event of an emergency.•Ability to stand and walk approximately ninety percent (90%) of shift, with frequent climbing, bending, reaching, stooping, squatting, and helping to lift objects and/or patients ranging from five (5) to three hundred (300) or more pounds.•Ability to use fingers and hands to operate all department-related equipment as described on the Department checklist.
