Practice Medicine Your Way. Lead with Autonomy. Shape the Future. Join us now and help lead the transition into our brand-new facility in 2026.

Catskill Veterinary Services is seeking an experienced, confident Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our growing team. We offer the ultimate flexibility: You can choose to work primarily in Rock Hill, primarily in Newburgh, or split your time between both locations.

We know that as a seasoned clinician, you value a hospital that supports your medicine, respects your time, and trusts your judgment. We are looking for a partner in care who is ready to bring their expertise to a collaborative and thriving environment.

WE ARE PROUDLY VETERINARIAN-FOUNDED & OWNED. We are led by veterinarians who understand the floor, the medicine, and the reality of emergency work. We prioritize clinical excellence and the well-being of our team above all else.

THE EXPERIENCED VET ADVANTAGE: Impressive Earning Potential: Salary range of $100,000 - $200,000 (based on experience, schedule, and production). Production Bonuses: Significant additional earning potential based on revenue (with no negative accrual).

Clinical Autonomy: We trust our doctors. You will have the freedom to manage your cases and tailor treatment plans to the individual needs of the patient.

Efficiency: Our high-level support staff allows you to be a doctor, not a technician.

Future Growth: We are breaking ground on a brand new, state-of-the-art hospital opening in 2026. This is your chance to get in on the ground floor and have a voice in the growth of our Urgent Care/ER department. ABOUT CATSKILL VETERINARY SERVICES We are the primary hub for veterinary care in Sullivan County, the Hudson Valley, and beyond. We are a Full Scope network designed to support the patient at every stage of life.

Our Network: In addition to our hospital hubs in Rock Hill and Newburgh, we operate a dedicated location in Middletown, which serves as our main primary care facility. This ecosystem ensures a strong internal referral base and allows our ER team to focus on urgent cases while our Primary Care team handles wellness.

Continuity of Care: We offer the satisfaction of seeing cases through. If your critical ER patient needs long-term internal medicine management or advanced surgery, our internal team handles it. You get to see the outcomes of your hard work.

Honoring the Bond: We are deeply committed to preserving the human-animal bond. We support the owner just as much as the patient, fostering a strong community reputation that you can be proud of. THE SUPPORT YOU DESERVE Licensed & Capable: You will be flanked by a powerhouse team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) and experienced assistants. They are proficient in triage, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and critical care nursing.

Floor-Savvy Management: Our management team comes from the floor. They have years of hands‑on experience, meaning they understand the challenges you face and know exactly how to support you.

Collaborative Culture: We encourage a collaborative experience. We will meet you with the energy and drive you bring to the table. Whether you want to focus solely on clinical work or have an interest in mentoring younger associates, we facilitate your professional goals.

LIFE IN THE HUDSON VALLEY Work where you love to live. No matter where you choose to settle in the beautiful Hudson Valley, you are in an incredible place to call home.

Ideally Located: We are a short, scenic drive to NYC. You can enjoy the city culture on your days off, but live in an area with a lower cost of living, more land, and less traffic.

The Good Life: The Hudson Valley is the food and drink capital of New York State. Enjoy farm‑to‑table dining, world‑class wineries, and a vibrant art scene (Storm King, Dia:Beacon, Bethel Woods).

Outdoor Access: Decompress after a shift by hiking Minnewaska, kayaking the Hudson or Delaware Rivers, or skiing in the winter.
