We’re looking for a
Safety Manager
who’s ready to lead from the field — not just enforce policies, but help create a culture where safety is embedded in everything we do. In this role, you'll oversee safety programs across high-impact projects, guide teams, mentor future safety leaders, and make sure every person goes home safely, every day. The Safety Manager reports to the Safety Director.

Responsibilities What You’ll Do
Lead safety efforts
across active job sites, working closely with project teams to build customized safety plans that fit each project’s unique needs
Integrate safety into planning , partnering early in preconstruction to identify risks and influence logistics, phasing, and methods before work begins
Conduct site audits and inspections
to spot hazards early, ensure compliance with OSHA and client requirements, and keep documentation audit-ready
Deliver training and toolbox talks
that go beyond checklists — helping teams understand not just the “what,” but the “why” behind safety protocols
Investigate incidents and near-misses , lead root cause analysis, and follow through with corrective actions that make a real, lasting difference
Mentor junior safety staff , providing guidance, feedback, and support to build the next generation of safety leaders
Represent the safety team , acting as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, and contributing to broader safety strategy
Qualifications What You Bring
Educational foundation:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
Relevant experience:
5+ years of experience in a dedicated construction safety role
Preferred certifications:
OSHA 500, CHST, OHST, ASP, CSP, or similar professional credentials
Field knowledge:
Strong understanding of construction operations, safety standards, and best practices
Hands-on expertise:
Experience with steel, precast, and excavation operations strongly preferred due to our self-performed work
Leadership skills:
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams
Communication strength:
Clear, confident interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to influence at all levels
What to Expect on the Job
Active field presence:
Majority of time spent on jobsites in fast-paced environments
Varied conditions:
Work outdoors and in changing weather and site conditions
Travel requirements:
Frequent local travel; limited overnight travel may be needed
Direct engagement:
Regular interaction with field employees, project leadership, clients, and safety partners
