Adjunct Faculty - Nursing

Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty for the Division of Nursing in the College of Health, Science, and Technology. Part-time teaching opportunities are available throughout the academic year. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview.

Current opportunities include teaching the following courses:

Pediatric Nursing clinical

Psychiatric Nursing clinical

Minimum Requirements:

MSN required

Current RN license or eligibility for licensing in Illinois

Five years of experience in clinical nursing practice

Three years of experience in nursing education or equivalent hospital education experience

Knowledge of state and national program accreditation

Demonstration of progressive roles and experience in teaching and learning

At least one year of teaching experience in a baccalaureate level program with curriculum development and assessment preferred

Evidence of self-development through participation in continuing education offerings, advanced study, scholarly pursuit, and/or professional and clinical activities

Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
