Registered Nurse (RN) – Atrium Health Mercy Same Day Procedure Center Charlotte, NC, United States

Where You Will Work Our 10-bed unit provides both pre‑procedural and post‑procedural care for patients undergoing surgical and non‑surgical procedures. These include electroconvulsive therapy, electric cardioversion, lithotripsy, minor vascular, and other urology procedures. Primary job responsibilities include completion of pre‑procedural checklist, verification of consent, close physiological monitoring, management of anesthesia side effects, administration of medications, completion of accurate documentation, patient and family education, adherence to established policies and standards, and collaboration with other members of the healthcare team. We foster a collaborative team environment focusing on engagement, patient satisfaction, continuous growth, and excellence in care. An ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills.

We’re Looking For

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

ACLS required

Previous ICU, PACU or ER nursing experience strongly preferred

What You’ll Do

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
