What is the Opportunity? Aecon is a North American construction and infrastructure development company with global experience – transforming vision into reality. We offer a full spectrum of industrial including power, infrastructure, and utility services for refurbishment, maintenance, new build, facilities, modularization, and fabrication and complex projects.
The Mechanical Field Engineer will be responsible for interfacing between the cross functional engineering groups with construction site team. This position is an integral part of the site construction team at the project site responsible for ensuring adherence to all engineering construction plans and specifications in support of the Project schedule.

What You’ll Do Here:
Provide construction site engineering resources and expertise during construction phases of projects to interpret designs, adjust designs to meet mitigate construction delays.
Facilitate construction and start-up activities.
Ensure that the design engineering requirements are complied with by reviewing all design drawings/specifications and making daily field inspections as may be required to support compliance.
Support construction/ engineering for required project submittals for approval.
