Position Title:
Veterans Treatment Court Coordinator, grade 44, $72,797.03 annually
Job Duties
Responsible for creating and implementing the protocol for the new treatment court.
Coordinate admissions to the Veteran's Treatment Court program in collaboration with the presiding judge and stakeholders.
Screen applicants for eligibility and conduct motivational interviewing techniques.
Identify risks and needs, formulate eligibility recommendations, and present recommendations to the court team.
Supervise CSO staff as needed.
Track client compliance, performance, and progress through program phases.
Prepare documents for presentation to the court, manage files, and track program data.
Provide guidance and direction to clients and prospective applicants; offer ongoing advice to the court team regarding client program status.
Cooperate with the Specialty Court Program Manager to facilitate training activities and steering committee meetings.
Report on the status of grant and private funding.
Required Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in corrections, criminology, counseling, psychology, sociology, or a closely related field.
Preferred military background.
