Job Description
Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements
Oversee monthly Balance Sheet and P&L accuracy and integrity
Prepare and file statutory financial statements under German GAAP
Coordinate corporate tax, VAT, and other local tax filings with Group Tax functions
Act as lead contact for external auditors, managing audits end-to-end
Collaborate closely with Shared Services Centers and central finance teams
Deliver accurate internal and external financial reporting within deadlines
Support tax audits, inspections, and regulatory controls
Contribute to entity lifecycle projects (set-ups, mergers, closures)
Participate in finance transformation initiatives, process improvements, and ERP evolution
The Successful Applicant
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience in statutory accounting, audit, or financial controlling
Solid exposure to multi-entity, international environments
Strong knowledge of German GAAP, IFRS, and tax frameworks
Proven experience managing external audits and tax reviews
Highly analytical, structured, and detail-oriented
Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple priorities
Clear communicator with finance and non-finance stakeholders
Advanced Excel skills and hands-on ERP experience (Oracle or similar)
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
