Summary The Pre‑Delivery Inspector position is responsible for completing daily inspection procedures for vehicles on the VPC line according to company and customer guidelines.
Responsibilities
Inspect vehicles on the VPC Line
Complete daily inspection procedures on new vehicle exterior/interior features in search for defects and/or damages
Ensure vehicles conform to quality standards and customer specifications
Complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner according to company guidelines and standards, SWIS policies and procedures
Ensure quality standards
Participate in daily startup meetings
Actively participate in Safety meetings
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company policies, safety guide lines, and procedures
Works with internal and external customers to meet and exceed customer expectations
Alerts and communicates any quality concerns with Supervisor/Manager
Willfully performs other tasks as instructed by leadership
Other duties as assigned
If needed, inspector fulfills various other roles such as driving, battery testing, installing accessories (such as floor mats, cargo nets, cargo trays, etc.) and reference materials (such as owner's manuals, multimedia guides, etc.) within the VPC department other than inspection

$22.04 per hour

Education & Experience
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Required
Associates Degree Preferred
Must hold a valid Driver's license Required
1 year experience in automotive, manufacturing, or processing Preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
Stand/walk
Lift up to 25 lbs.
Carry up to 25 lbs.
