The purpose of this role is to provide support to the senior team in delivering innovative solutions that deliver client objectives whilst meeting our business objectives and financial targets.**Job Description:**We are seeking a Manager of Data Science to provide technical expertise advising a growing team of media professionals and associated business operations by delivering innovative, actionable insights for media and marketing strategies. This role combines deep technical expertise in data science with leadership, business acumen, and a passion for turning complex data into real-world impact.
**Key Responsibilities*** **Leadership & Strategy*** Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data scientists, analysts, and ML engineers within a fast-paced media environment.* Define and execute the data science roadmap aligned with client goals, media strategy, and organizational priorities.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Partnerships, Client Strategy, Finance and Information Technology to identify high-impact opportunities.* Establish best practices for model development, experimentation, reproducibility, and deployment.* **Analytics & Modeling*** Build and oversee predictive models, machine learning pipelines, and attribution frameworks tailored to media and marketing use cases.* Lead advanced analytics projects from initial development to communication of findings and/or deployment of solutions.* Design and execute rigorous A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to measure campaign effectiveness* Ensure models are production-ready, scalable, and meet high-quality standards with appropriate monitoring and alerting* **Technical Execution*** Develop end-to-end machine learning pipelines using Python, SQL, and Scala for large-scale advertising data* Work extensively with programmatic advertising platforms and their APIs – including DSPs (Trade Desk, Beeswax, Amazon), DMPs and Measurement Partners.* Build analytics solutions on cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake)* Process and analyze bid-level log data, impression logs, and event-level advertising data (OpenRTB formats)* Implement MLOps practices for model lifecycle management, reproducibility, and monitoring.* **Communication & Influence*** Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders and clients.* Present recommendations and model outputs in a compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences.* Act as a thought leader on emerging analytics trends, tools, and methodologies in marketing and media.**Required Qualifications*** Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.* 4+ years in data science or analytics, with at least 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role.* Proficiency in Python and SQL for analytics and modeling.* Proven experience working with DSP platforms* Proven experience building and deploying machine learning models and analytics solutions in production environments.* Strong knowledge of statistical testing, experimental design, and machine learning techniques.* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data warehouses, and analytics tools.**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with R, Scala, or other languages for specialized analytics use cases* Understanding of programmatic advertising workflows, bidding strategies, and campaign optimization* Experience with marketing attribution modeling (MTA, MMM, incrementality studies)The annual salary range for this position is $68,000 - $110,400.
