Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Systems and Technologies Manager. The Security Systems and Technologies Manager is responsible for the management of the badging process and personnel, coordinate daily work assignments and overall administration of physical security systems.
Starting salary $125,008.00 per year
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage badging process for a high profile customer; coordinate daily work assignments of security badging personnel; manage selection and placement of direct reports, design and implement career development and performance improvement plans
Day-to-day administration of physical security systems and related technologies (access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, key control, emergency communications, GPS/asset tracking, incident reporting, etc.)
Ensure security systems align with company policies, procedures, licensing agreements, configuration guidelines, and standard methodologies for maintaining regulatory compliance
Administer security systems and related technologies in accordance with established companies and Corporate Security policies and procedures
Program, test, and commission security systems and/or devices newly installed or reconfigured
Coordinate tasks related to the issuance, activation, retrieval, and de-activation of company identification badges and mechanical keys
Execute on general set-up and administration activities for various security web or application-based technologies
Coordinate and support preventative maintenance activities to ensure proper operations of security systems, devices, applications, databases, software upgrades, door hardware, etc.
Collaborate with approved 3rd party service providers and internal functions (IT, Facilities, etc.) to troubleshoot, restore and/or repair failed security systems and/or devices
Assist with the development and revision of security systems and door hardware specifications and operating procedures
Administer site(s) vehicle registration and parking permit program
Ensure security systems drawings are maintained and updated as required
Participate in the development and implementation of asset life cycle and management plans
Lead tasks associated with reduction and management of security systems alarms
Lead security system projects and upgrades
Compile, prepare, and analyze security system statistical reports and make recommendations as appropriate
Provide general operational support (e.g., incident response, event support, procedural development, training, information destruction, emergency management, etc.)
Coordinate service delivery activities with security suppliers
Establish and maintain close working relationships with an internal client base
Inventory, track, and order security devices and related supplies per established procedures
Ensure security records are retained by the company document retention policy and file retention schedule
Complete security systems related to data tracking, trending, analysis, and reporting
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE)
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study
Minimum of three (3) years of progressive industry and/or public sector experience in installation, service, and administration of security systems
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to read and comprehend regulations, correspondence, and provider’s instructions, rules and regulations
Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues
Proven project management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE)
Industry experience in project management
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Technical certifications
