Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning and Programming Specialist – AFSC 16R to join our team! In this role you will perform integrated, multidisciplinary assessments that assess survivability of critical U.S. Air Force mission systems, infrastructures, and assets.
The Air Force Mission Assurance Assessment Team requires highly specialized technical, analytical, and investigative support services to develop and conduct comprehensive assessments of an Installation and/or Facility.
This challenging and exciting work will provide you with the opportunity to travel CONUS and OCONUS to the most important Air Force systems and critical infrastructure to ensure the survivability of any threat or attack.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic planning and resource management within the United States Air Force
Developing and implementing long-term Mission Assurance plans that align with Air Force objectives and mission requirements
Analyzing and managing budgets, manpower, and other resources to ensure efficient and effective support for Air Force operations
Creating and managing Mission Assurance programs that support operational goals, including the coordination of resources and timelines
Working with various departments and units to ensure that Mission Assurance plans and programs are integrated and aligned with overall Air Force strategies
Conducting Mission Assurance assessments to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of plans and programs, making adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes
Ensuring compliance with Air Force policies and directives in the planning and execution of programs.
Playing a crucial role in ensuring that the Air Force’s strategic objectives are met through effective planning and resource allocation
Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 10-12+ years of related experience
Strategic Planning experience
HQ Air Force and/or Joint Staff experience
Prior Lt Col/Col preferred; Major required
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Ability to travel up to 25% per year
Valid US passport
Desired Skills
15+ years of experience
Master's Degree
Security Clearance Requirement An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.
Salary Range: $108,700.00 - $190,200.00
