Family Nurse Practitioner (Urgent Care)
Full-Time Syracuse, NY Area (Liverpool, Cicero, or Camillus)
Shift Scheduling: 12-hour shifts Shift times range between 7:00 AM 11:30 PM
Rotating Weekend availability required
Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in a high-volume urgent care setting
• Perform urgent care procedures including suturing, incision & drainage, splinting/immobilization, and foreign body removal
• Manage acute medical conditions such as respiratory emergencies, allergic reactions, and anaphylaxis
• Interpret EKGs and X-rays to support timely clinical decision-making
• Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery
• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation in the EHR
Qualifications
• Master s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
• Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Active, unrestricted New York NP license
• DEA license and NPI number required
• Minimum 1 year of urgent care, emergency medicine, critical care, or other high-acuity experience
• Strong procedural skills (suturing and I&D required)
