The Salisbury VA Medical Center is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our team! 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Call Coverage:
Per rotation, 1 week every 5 weeks

Position Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA policy.
- Education: A Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.
- Licensure: Candidates must possess a current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
- Residency: Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty.
- Board Certification: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
- Experience: Preferred experience in treating medical retina conditions with anti-VEGF therapies, basic glaucoma, and cataracts.
