We're looking for an experienced, WV licensed, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine provider to cover Monday - Sunday shifts from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM . We offer flexibility for both full-time (12+ shifts per month) and part-time (6+ shifts per month) commitments. A minimum consistent availability of 3 shifts per month is required.
This role involves travel between our primary site and other one, with all locations no more than 30 miles apart. - $165/hr
Responsibilities and Caseload:
- Manage a wide array of urgent care cases, including:
- Cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, and minor burns.
- Performing splints, X-rays/EKGs, drawing blood, and Incision & Drainage (I&D) procedures .
- Anything high acuity will be referred to the local Emergency Room.
- Must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages and performing orthopedic procedures (splinting) and wound care .
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care
- OR minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency medicine
- NPDB self query MUST be submitted with presentation to be considered
- Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC)
- EMR System: Proficiency with Epic EMR system is required.
- Active WV license ONLY
