Position Details:

• Setting: Inpatient trauma surgery

• Volume: 6 12 patients/day (rounding, consults, admits)

• Trauma Designation: Level II (Adults)

• EMR: Epic

• Support Needed Due To: FT APP on 12-week medical leave

• Schedule Mix: Weekdays 5p 7a + full weekend 24hr coverage

Requirements Duties & Required Experience:

• Suturing minor lacerations

• Responding to ED trauma alerts

• Conducting surgical consultations and ER admissions

• Facilitating discharges and handoffs

• Responding to house codes / rapid response

• Performing FAST exams at bedside

Requirements:

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS Required

• License: Active Ohio license Required

• Board Certified PA with trauma/inpatient experience

• DEA Required
