We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care, conduct evaluations, and manage medication treatment plans in collaboration with a supervising psychiatrist.
Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations
Prescribe psychotropic medications in accordance with clinical guidelines
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system
Participate in treatment planning, case reviews, and in-service training
Adhere to ethical, regulatory, and infection control protocols
Engage in regular clinical supervision as required by state law and organizational policy
Additional duties as assigned by the clinical director or medical leadership
Education & Licensure:
Completion of a Board-approved master s or post-master s PMHNP program
Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts
National certification by an approved accrediting body (e.g., ANCC)
Active DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR)
Experience & Skills:
Experience conducting psychiatric evaluations and treatment
Familiarity with behavioral health care standards and medication management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
