This is a rare opportunity to step into an established, high-volume practice due to a planned retirement of a long-tenured and highly respected surgeon.Whether youre drawn to the OR full-time or envision a hybrid career that includes research, teaching, or program development, this position offers exceptional flexibility and institutional support to build the career you want.Position HighlightsSurgical Focus: High volume of thoracic cases with full access to OR time and da Vinci robotic systems90%+ Robotic Cases: Fully robotic program with experienced staff and infrastructureDedicated Team: Supported by advanced practice providers and surgical fellowsClinic Time: Just 1 day per week on average, with schedule customized to your preferencesMinimal Call Burden: Primarily focused on your patient panel, with light weekend rotationIntegrated Care: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pulmonology, radiology, oncology, and cardiac surgeryDiagnostic Excellence: Strong support from a systemwide lung nodule program and high-level radiology resourcesTumor Board Participation: Engaged, interdisciplinary case review processesPractice CustomizationPrefer to be in the OR most of the time?
