An academic hospital in Staten Island is seeking a Rheumatologist to join their growing division. Full time position with hospital benefits including PTO, CME, Malpractice coverage and competitive compensation plan. New grads, are welcome to apply! Job Function Join department with 1 full time Rheumatologist to assist in the growth of this division that got off the ground about two years ago. Primarily outpatient work with Mon-Fri standard hours and inpatient work only 10% of the time. Inpatient consults would be built into normal work week and rotate 1 month on 1 month off with the other physician (when covering consult service you MIGHT have to come in for an urgent consult on a weekend, but this very rare and no other in person call). Hospital has access to a musculoskeletal ultrasound for procedures and an infusion center affiliated with the hospital. Role would have a half day of administrative time and role would include teaching of internal medicine residents during their "block" within rheumatology.
