Locums - Pediatric ENT Opportunity in Peoria, Illinois Position Overview:

RecruitWell is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric ENT physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Peoria, IL.

Key Details:

  • Start Date: January 2026

  • Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 12-hour shifts with night call coverage as needed

  • Setting: Pediatric ENT Clinic within a well-supported team of two attending ENT surgeons and two experienced PAs

  • Coverage Type: As-needed basis to support service gaps and provider PTO

  • EMR: EPIC

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and surgical ENT care to pediatric patients

  • Take night call as required

Common Procedures:

  • Tonsillectomy

  • Adenoidectomy

  • Myringotomy with tube placement

  • Cauterization of the septum

  • Frenulectomy

  • Foreign body removal

  • Abscess drainage

  • Myringoplasty

  • Laryngoscopy

Requirements:

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric ENT

  • Illinois medical license (or willingness to obtain)

  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
