Opportunity Overview:
A busy and well-established OB/GYN practice in New Jersey is seeking Board-Certified Locum Tenens OB/GYNs to help cover physician gaps. You ll join a collaborative team of 8 physicians and 20 APPs providing care in a mix of outpatient and inpatient settings. This role involves both low- and high-risk obstetrics , surgical gynecology, and call coverage.

Average Scheduled Patients/Day:
Nursery Level: III (Avg. 6 admissions/day)
GYN Surgical Cases/Day: 3 4
C-Section Rate: 35%
EMR: Cerner/Oracle
Trauma Level: II
Support: Each physician has a dedicated medical assistant
Management of low- and high-risk pregnancies
Routine & complicated deliveries (C-Sections, Breech, VBACs, Multiple births)
Repair of 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations
Surgical Gynecology: Open & laparoscopic
Tubal ligations, chromopertubation, cystectomy, ovary removal
Office-based procedures: IUD, LEEP, colposcopy, cystoscopy, cryo, etc.
Board Certification: Required
NJ License: Highly preferred (willing to consider those obtaining)
Call & Schedule: TBD
Balanced mix of OB and GYN (50/50)
Work alongside a large, experienced provider team
Gain exposure to high-risk cases in a Level III nursery setting
Flexibility with dates and shared coverage
No onsite lab or ultrasound = strong collaborative team approach
