Urgent Hiring for Phlebotomist at Springfield, VA.
The primary role of a phlebotomist is to assist in performing various duties, troubleshooting, training, and recommending improvements for workflow. The position requires the collection and storage of specimens according to established procedures, with a focus on patient care and accurate processing.
Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens, record maintenance data, and decontaminate.
* Explain the process of venipuncture and specimen collection in a clear and courteous manner.
* Check all test requisitions or computer labels against scripts to ensure accuracy.
* Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
* High School Diploma or GED.
* 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, VA.
