Snr. HR Generalist
We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Northville, MI. As the Senior HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing support to the Human Resources Manager on an on-going basis in a fast-paced environment. You will provide effective administration of policies, procedures, guidelines, and benefits. This role also supports company employee relations efforts, recruiting and onboarding.
Key responsibilities include managing recruitment, the onboarding process, and requirements for the corporate functional groups; implementation of policies, practices, and procedures necessary for the well-being of the company and its team members; administration of the company's benefits plans; creation and preparation of HR reports; management of the offboarding process; assistance with the coordination of the company training program; planning and preparation of succession planning with Human Resources Managers for the salaried staff; maintenance of accurate HR records; analysis of HR data to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions; conduct wage and salary administration programs; development and maintenance of procedures and programs for providing employee services; responsibility for continual improvement projects and review; ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws; and providing other support to the Management team as needed.
Job requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; 3 - 5 years of Human Resources experience in positions of increasing accountability; solid understanding of HR best practices, employment laws and compliance requirements; excellent communications, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills; highly proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications; detailed-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities; proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis with large datasets, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP; ability to work in a high paced corporate environment; and ability to work onsite in Northville, MI.
