Mobile HVAC / Maintenance Technician
Position focuses on operating, inspecting, and maintaining HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment across assigned facilities. Goal is to maximize equipment efficiency, lifespan, and ensure energy‑efficient and safe operations with minimal downtime. Emphasis is on proactive maintenance, detailed record‑keeping, anticipating repair needs, and HVAC/R systems operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Responsibilities
Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems, equipment, and components
Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, and plumbing systems
Handle building interior/exterior repairs, grounds maintenance, and production equipment for assigned buildings
Study and become familiar with various equipment types and proper operating methods required for daily activities
Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations
Submit P‑card receipts daily and update work order status in real time
Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for documenting all work performed
Respond to call‑in work and perform other duties as required
Troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems including rack refrigeration and supermarket equipment
Requirements
MUST have commercial refrigeration experience (rack or supermarket equipment)
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
HVAC technicians must have a Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment)
Minimum of 4 years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license
Preferred
Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC/R
Must be available for call‑in work and perform other duties as required
