We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide quality nursing care in Golden, Colorado at a Jefferson County Detention Facility. The role is part‑time and on‑call (PRN) with flexible schedules.

Position Summary A Registered Nurse (RN) delivers quality care in accordance with local state nurse practice acts, delegates responsibilities, oversees nursing activities, ensures safety for patients and staff, and advocates for high‑quality health care.

Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
Active Registered Nurse licence in Colorado
CPR certificationKnowledge of state laws and regulations governing practice
Completion of initial and annual clinical competencies
Essential Functions
Maintain accurate reports and records
Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions and side effects
Record patient medical information and vital signs
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient condition
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members for patient‑care plans
Modify treatment plans based on patient responses
Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity
Direct or supervise less‑skilled nursing or healthcare personnel or supervise a unit
Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments
Provide health education, disease prevention, and childbirth instruction to individuals, families, or groups
Prepare rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies; maintain stock levels
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient condition
Additional duties as assigned by facility
