We are looking for an MRB Design Engineer with a passion for aircraft repair and a proactive, customer‑focused mindset. Expleo is an international engineering service provider, operating in over 30 countries and supporting major aerospace and other industry clients.
Responsibilities
Carry out design analysis and create design dispositions for detail part and assembly non‑conformances, assessing different repair scenarios for fit, form and function.
Identify the most efficient analysis methods while ensuring adherence to relevant airworthiness and customer procedural requirements.
Collaborate with multiple functions/suppliers (e.g., Design/Stress approvers) to ensure the most appropriate design solution, taking cost, time, performance and installation into account.
Act in a customer‑facing capacity, explaining and escalating critical issues and mentoring others.
Qualifications
Previously held MRB Signing Authority within the past 3 to 5 years.
3+ years with Boeing products or supply chain preferred.
Structure/design engineer experience with Boeing commercial products.
Minimum of a BS in Aerospace Engineering (Mechanical, Design, Structural, etc.).
ABET‑accredited engineering degree recognized by the Washington Accord.
Experience working on Boeing products and structures preferred, ideally with a level of delegated technical approval and at least three years in the Boeing supply chain or directly.
Understanding of material properties, production & manufacturing methods, and their effect on aircraft performance, preferably with both metallic and composite capabilities.
Working knowledge of CATIA V5 for interrogation and drawing/model modification.
Previous Design Organization Approval (DOA) advantageous.
TipQA or MES advantage.
