Job Description As a Design Engineer, you will partner with structural engineers to design and model products for our customers. You will create blueprints and bills of materials for offsite manufacturing and work with subcontractors and contractors on installation expectations. Collaboration with the team on project deadlines is essential.

Create detailed blueprints and bills of materials for offsite manufacturing.
Coordinate with subcontractors and contractors regarding installation expectations.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in CAD, AutoCAD, Design, Drafting, Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, and Pro/E.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 6 months of experience with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Work Environment Join a small, family-like office with 15 employees, where we are looking to add 2‑3 more detailers/drafters. You will work closely with engineers and other drafters in a relaxed, non‑corporate atmosphere. Enjoy flexibility with work hours as long as responsibilities are met. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
