The Opportunity Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories and clinics worldwide. The information derived from our tests and instruments is often the first step in patient‑care decision making for hundreds of health conditions. The Irving, TX office is hiring a
Material Handler, 2nd shift .
What You’ll Work On
Understand material movement and inventory levels and complete timely processing of assigned tasks.
Process stock transfers, material requests and put‑away. Load and/or unload trucks as required.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts with appropriate training and/or certification.
Assist and train associates with on‑the‑job training.
Use the ERP system for material management activity and perform root‑cause analysis to research material movement and resolve discrepancies.
Perform cycle counting.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse material flow systems and procedures.
Seek efficiency in system and process gaps and elevate awareness to management.
Maintain positive and cooperative communication, promote a positive work environment.
Participate in on‑the‑job training for warehouse and manufacturing processes, corporate policies, safety procedures, GMP, ISO Standards as defined by supervisor.
Adhere to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment, policies and procedures, including department‑specific requirements. Serve on safety, quality and other committees, if applicable.
Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes and task assignments.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum 2 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience of material handling or prior warehouse experience
Seeks efficiency in systems/processes. Manages own time under general supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Oracle experience preferred.
Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hand and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
Ability to handle and lift up to 25 lbs as needed for specific job functions.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Works well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.

The base pay for this position is $18.45 – $36.85 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary.
