Provides technical support for the Executive Chamber. Performs technical support related to network and system design, configuration, maintenance, security, customer support, project support, and business/systems analysis and design, which may include client/server and n-tier web or cloud application systems (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
Primary Duties
Supervision of a team of IT Support 1 who are responsible for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktop PCs and laptops.
Utilize network and server administrative tools to accomplish system tasks and monitor Azure AD accounts, email and cloud workspace accounts, MDM configurations and policies.
Install network printers, peripherals, and other appliances; set up and maintain user accounts; monitor, diagnose, and resolve operating system problems.
Assist with PC imaging and maintenance.
Instruct, support, and train end users on network usage.
Review and recommend the selection of hardware, software, and maintenance services; and may participate in the procurement process.
Supervise Executive Chamber help desk operations, including the development of written problem tracking and problem‑solving procedures, scheduling of on‑call support, and other assignments.
Minimum Qualifications An Associate's or higher‑level degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field, and a minimum of three years of systems administration work experience. Additional related work experience or job‑related certifications may substitute for educational experience.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Windows Server OS experience: server virtualization, Windows Active Directory, backup administration, and maintenance, computer imaging and deployment.
Cisco VOIP phone configuration or similar experience.
Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2012-2025 and Desktop Operating Systems—Windows 10/11.
Working knowledge of cloud computing with a preference for Azure AD, Office 365, and Google Workspace.
Experience with audiovisual (AV) systems and equipment, including setup, troubleshooting, and support for conference rooms, presentation technology, and video‑conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, WebEx).
Successful candidates will be self‑motivated and proactive, understand user needs, identify root causes of problems, and implement pragmatic solutions. Strong analytical skills and decision‑making ability, willingness to work in a team environment, and solid organizational and time‑management skills are necessary for success in this role.
