Job Overview Performs a variety of radiographic procedures for diagnosis and treatment requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative.
Responsibilities
Perform imaging exams in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws, collaborating with physician to evaluate images and report abnormalities immediately.
Follow established protocols for all imaging equipment, performing all routine daily, weekly, monthly and periodic maintenance and function checks.
Ensure proper supplies, appropriate medical equipment and medications are available for patient care and Par levels meet facility needs.
Participate in QAPI activities including participation in accreditation preparation and survey process, and maintenance of accreditation, state, and CMS standards.
Adhere to established facility/departmental policies and procedures.
Attend and participate in all applicable facility meetings, training and development workshops.
Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Technology program which has been accredited by an agency accepted by the ARRT.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Must be registered by the ARRT. Must hold a current license from the State of Florida as a Certified Radiologic Technologist. Must have current BLS certification.
