Position: Property Accountant
Employment type: Full‑time

Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH
Base salary: $90,000‑$100,000 plus discretionary bonus
Location options: Towson, MD; Crofton, MD; Gambrills, MD; Annapolis, MD; Silver Spring, MD; Timonium, MD; Columbia, MD; Laurel, MD; Prince George's County, MD
Salary range varies by location as listed above.

Responsibilities
Prepare month‑end close and financial reporting packages for multiple entities
Post general ledger entries and review bank account reconciliations
Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting
Manage real estate tax payments and appeals
Process monthly mortgage payments
Coordinate with development and acquisitions teams on draws, wires, and closing‑related accounting
Calculate annual tenant operating expense reconciliations and estimates
Review and approve invoices and manage batch processing through Avid Exchange
Review audit and tax packages as needed
Support acquisition activities and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
3–5 years of accounting experience within commercial real estate
Experience with MRI and Yardi systems
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management abilities
Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
