Senior Tax Accountant/Manager position at a well‑established CPA firm in Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA. Opportunity to work in a full‑service public accounting firm with over 35 years of experience in providing accounting and tax preparation services. Responsibilities
Preparation and review of Individual, Partnership, Corporate, Non‑profit and Trust tax returns. Periodic tax research. Tax audit representation. Tax planning and projections. Requirements
Strong current tax preparation and review experience (minimum 4 years in general public accounting/CPA firm). Preferences
Master’s in Business Taxation – preferred but not required. CPA License – preferred but not required. Qualifications
Fundamental knowledge of tax principles. Strong technical tax preparation skills (LACERTE software). Detail and deadline driven. Self‑starter and self‑motivated individual with exceptional work ethic. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with tax audit is a plus. Ability to work with staff members of diverse accounting backgrounds. Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner. Excellent computer skills.
