We’re supporting a Medical Device Company with the hire of a Cost Accountant to strengthen their finance function within a manufacturing environment. This is a full‑time, site‑based position (physical attendance required).
Salary:
$90,000–$100,000 (depending on experience)
Work setup:
On-site (some remote flex)

Responsibilities
Manage and maintain product costing (including standard costs where applicable)
Perform variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) and communicate drivers clearly
Support inventory accounting, reconciliations, and cycle count/physical inventory processes
Partner with operations/manufacturing to improve cost visibility and controls
Support month‑end close activities related to inventory and COGS
Build and maintain reporting to support margin, pricing, and operational performance
Contribute to budgeting/forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Proven cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
Sage experience is required
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
Solid understanding of inventory, COGS, and manufacturing cost drivers
Comfortable being on‑site and partnering closely with operations
Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level
