Overview Reporting to the Supervisor, Talent Acquisition, you will be part of the Human Resources Department. You will play a key role in recruiting the best talent for our Canadian divisions by employing proactive sourcing strategies and resources, developing new, creative recruiting ideas as well as being part of a dynamic and supportive talent acquisition team. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the recruitment process from start to finish, supporting departments in their hiring needs for hourly positions and ensuring the hiring process standards are followed for all candidates;

Follow the recruitment screening process to identify the best potential candidates;

Recruit, source and present qualified candidates to the hiring managers;

Liaise with candidates and hiring managers during all stages of the recruitment process;

Lead interviews by using the targeted selection method interviewing system;

Ensure a smooth transition from the selection process to pre-employment verifications to the onboarding stage of new employees;

Ensure proper follow-ups with stakeholders throughout the recruitment process;

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, etc.;

Represent the company and participate in career fairs as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Industrial Relations, or equivalent;

2 years of experience in a full-cycle recruitment role;

Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn and various other candidate databases;

Experience with targeted selection interview methods;

Sound knowledge of market trends and best practices;

Integrity and confidentiality.

Your Work Schedule

Schedule: 5/2 schedule (Monday to Friday); a combination of tele-working with presence at our offices. Ideally the person will be based in Northern Ontario and will need to travel regularly to all sites in Ontario.
