Job Description As a Tax Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality tax services to our clients. You will work closely with experienced professionals to prepare tax returns, conduct tax research, and assist in providing tax planning and consulting services. Key Responsibilities

Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.

Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax planning and compliance efforts.

Assist with the preparation of tax provision calculations and related documentation.

Maintain accurate and organized client files and records.

Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on tax matters.

Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.

Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and enhance service delivery.

Participate in professional development and continuing education programs to maintain and enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus).

0‑2 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance (internship experience considered).

Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
