Seeking motivated individuals who are looking to join a fast paced growing organization to work in the production department doing mechanical assembly of raw materials, utilize different hand tools, and perform QC inspections.
What You Will Do
Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, drawings, and schematics to assemble products.
Operate hand tools and light equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain organized inventory of products in work stations.
Perform quality checks, identify and record defects for further analysis.
Rework and repair assembled equipment according to engineering specifications.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with safety procedures.
Stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 30 lbs during an 8‑hour shift.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
1–3 years of assembly experience; proficiency with small tools (e.g., torque wrench).
Ability to read blueprints and schematics (plus).
Capacity to lift 30 lbs and stand for an entire shift.
Willingness to work overtime and 7:00 am–3:30 pm shift with 30‑minute lunch.
Qualifications You Must Have
HS diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience; if no HS diploma, 4 years of experience required.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Must be able to work without future sponsorship (Collins Aerospace does not offer).
Preferable Qualifications
Electronics assembly experience.
Product assembly experience.
Proficiency with hand tools and electric power tools.
Dress Code
Wear safety glasses.
No sunglasses, hats, shorts, skirts, sagging pants, or ripped jeans.
Closed shoes required.
