Job Summary
The General Ledger Accountant will have responsibility for general ledger and monthly close process, recurring and non-recurring journal entries, and related account reconciliations. This will include all matters related to these roles that are required of publicly traded companies, including participation in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective interpersonal skills are critical.

Primary Responsibilities
General ledger (GL) accounting for multiple business sites within Enpro (excluding inventory accounting), including preparation of journal entries and supporting the monthly accounting close process
Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
Support reconciliations of intercompany account balances with other EnPro divisions
Support preparation of quarter‑end and year‑end Reporting Packages to support SEC reporting
Upload and maintenance of ledgers in company‑wide consolidation module (OneStream)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business with an emphasis in accounting
Up to 2 years of experience accounting, preferably in public accounting and/or in a publicly traded company accounting function
Preferred CPA candidate or interest in progressing toward gaining license
Strong computer skills including detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong verbal and written communication skills
